If money were no object, which five luxury items would you rush right out and buy?

1. a car. i haven't really thought of what kind of car, but buying car in Singapore is ridiculously expensive, and it's hard to justify the need to buy a car solely due to the price. so if money were no object, a car is probably the first thing i buy... it would be so much easier to take Koda around, since most taxis here complain if we take a dog as big as Koda into their car. and since the baby is coming, having a car would be nice ;)
   
2. a house (not an apartment). we're currently still renting. not that we don't like our current rented house, but if we had money and choice, i'd love to buy a house near to where we're currently live.
   
3. probably, an apartment in a good area, where it's easy to find someone who will rent from us... it should give us extra money every month :) 
4. one of those expensive computerized sewing machine that can do everything. he he he.
5. an Eames chair or two. I haven't decided which one.

How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?

I have a voice like a 10-year-old girl, so "mom's not home" works wonder.

this voice of mine could also be a problem. back in college, i wanted to buy a video game that hasn't come out in stores yet. the only way to buy was to call a certain phone number. unfortunately, the sales person kept telling me to get my parents to the phone. i told her that that i'm a 22 years old girl who live by myself. instead of believing me, she scolded me for "stealing my mom's credit card and that's a very bad bad thing to do" and hung up on me.

Who was your first celebrity crush?

it's probably River Phoenix. i had a huge crush on him on Stand By Me and started collecting his pictures from magazines.. and i might've watched all of his earlier movies. i still think he could've been a good actor, if his life wasn't cut short. too bad.

What is your favorite kind of bagel and what do you put on it?

it's been a while since i had a good bagel. i can't seem to find any good ones ever since i moved out of the States. anyways, my all time favorite bagel was everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese, from a corner store right across ari's apartment when he was still living in Burns Street, Forest Hills, NY. they also make an okay coffee, too.

everything bagel doesn't really have everything in it. it usually has garlic, onion, sesame seeds and, i think, salt.

lox and cream cheese is not bad either.

Do you play any musical instruments?

i've learned to play many different instrumens, but i barely play any now.

my dad taught me to play Harmonica when i was small... i can play the regular C harmonica, but harmonicas with half-note thing confuse the hell out of me.

i took classical Piano lesson when i was in 3 grade... and after many years, i didn't improved much. but the lesson helps me to learn how to read notes.

during the fourth grade, all of us in the class had to take music lesson where we can only choose between two instrument: Pianica and Recorder. i chose Recorder.

in junior high, i joined the marching band and learned to play Bariton, Alto and Trumpet (in that order). i also tried to learn Trombone, but never end up playing it. now, if you ask me how to play, i think i have to learn them all over again. i have forgotten all of it!

some time in highschool, a brother of my boyfriend taught me how to play Saxophone. but after a few months, the lesson was cut off because i broke up with his brother. oh well.

when i was in college, i taught myself how to play guitar. my then-boyfriend gave me a guitar as a christmas present, so i thought i need to learn it so that it won't go to waste. now, guitar is probably the only musical instrument that i still remember how to play (aside from the harmonica).

hmm, this meme makes me want to buy a guitar...
